The Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) requires the services of the following:

·       A. Production Expert (Pre/Post-Production)
B. Sound Engineer                                                                                       C. Video Producer

A.    PRODUCTION EXPERT

JOB SUMMARY

The Production Expert will oversee the planning, execution and post-event processing of all multimedia content related to event, conferences, concerts and productions hosted in the facilities

 

DUTIES /RESPONSIBILITIES

·     Project analysis and effective client communication.

·     Script development with client, scheduling, planning etc

·     Assessment of equipment, software and needs for effective project solutions.

·     Advanced camera, lighting and sound recording

·     Advanced video and audio editing

·     Motion graphics and animation

·     Titles and effects

·     Ability to set up and operate a wide variety of production equipment.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

·     A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant area preferably in Media Production

·     A minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience

·     Working knowledge of full range of production techniques including sound recording, graphics, editing methods etc.

Skills and Competencies

·     Experience in delivering webcasts (live streaming) will be an added advantage.

·     Creativity and attention to details

B.    SOUND ENGINEER

JOB SUMMARY

The Sound Engineer will be responsible for delivering high-quality audio for all events and ensure proper recording and mixing of sound for multimedia content including online streaming.

DUTIES /RESPONSIBILITIES

·     Assemble, operate and maintain and troubleshoot technical equipment used to record, amplify, enhance, mix or reproduce sound during live performance events to ensure the best acoustic result.

·     Set up audio equipment for panel discussions, presentations including events that require setup for translation services

·     Set up and test sound equipment before all events.

·     Resolve technical sound issues when they arise.

·     Record, edit and mix audio recordings for post – production.

·     Ensure effective handling of all equipment and suggest upgrades when necessary.

·     Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

·     A minimum of an HND in Sound Engineering or a relevant Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Audio or Sound Engineering

·     A minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in live sound engineering and studio work

·     Proven experience as a sound engineer

·     Technical expertise in sound engineering techniques (e.g. equalization)

·     Experience with modern sound engineering, editing and recording equipment (e.g. Digital consoles, IEMs, DAWs etc)

C. VIDEO PRODUCER

JOB SUMMARY
The Video Producer will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning and producing captivating video content for events, promotions and various digital platforms.

DUTIES /RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·     Planning, shooting and editing of visual content.

·     Using the state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to ensure cutting edge output.

·     Lead video production efforts from concept to execution.

·     Direct and coordinate the filming process, ensuring smooth operation of cameras, audio and lighting to achieve professional results.

·     Incorporate elements like graphics, animations, music and voiceovers into the videos to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.

·     Ensure effective handling of all equipment.

·     Properly archive and manage all visual assets.

·     Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

·     A Minimum of an HND degree preferably in Film Production, Media Arts or in a related area.

·     A minimum of three (3) years working experience in video editing or related field

·     Demonstrated portfolio of creative video works (samples or links to projects / reels required)

·     Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.

Skills and Competencies

·     Proficiency in video editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.

·     Strong understanding of motion graphics, color grading, and visual effects.

·     Hands-on experience with sound recording and editing software

·     Proficiency in handling cameras and camera drones

·     Passion for storytelling through film and video.

·     Excellent attention to detail and a creative mindset.

·     Knowledge in stage/set

·     Strong communication and teamwork skills.

·     Time-management skills

·     Computer literate

·     Team player
